Portage Lake Lodge
Portage Lake is an exceptional housekeeping lodge, ideal for small private groups seeking an authentic wilderness adventure. The area offers excellent fishing for walleye, northern pike, and both large and smallmouth bass directly on Portage Lake. For even more variety, there is also tremendous bass fishing in three nearby upper lakes—Sunny, Crowe, and Finney—which feature stashed boats for your use. This location is ideal for those who value privacy and a true sense of nature and adventure.
The large three-bedroom cottage accommodates up to 12 people and is equipped with propane lighting, a small refrigerator, and an indoor bathroom with a hot shower. There is a separate cabin that serves as a dedicated kitchen area where meals are prepared and enjoyed. There is no electricity available at this location, though two bar-sized fridges are provided to keep your essentials cool. Please remember to bring your own bedding, linens, and towels, as these are not supplied.
For your fishing excursions, there are three boats available at the main lodge in addition to the stashed boats located at the upper lakes. The boats at Portage Lake Lodge come equipped with reliable 2hp outboard motors to help you explore the waters.
